RC50/60 Rotary Cutoff Machines

The RC50/60 rotary-head tube cutoff lathes are the mid-size rotating-head models, with the widest diameter range of all our RC pipe cut-off machines. These machines can cut, face, chamfer and groove tubes quickly and efficiently, eliminating secondary operations and reducing labor.

The RC50 is typically tooled to cut from .875" to 5" diameter tubes, and the RC60 can cut tubes from 1.75" to 6.75" diameter, with wall thickness from .050 to .75". The tube chucks adjust automatically to the programmed diameter, so there's no downtime for collet or jaw replacement. This vital feature is found only on Hautau machines.

The 30HP headstock has ample power for fast cutting, and includes constant surface speed (CSS) control to maintain optimum production rates.

All RC pipe cutoff lathes can cut mixed long and short lengths, to insure you get the best material utilization even when cutting from random length bundles. Our optional inspection systems can monitor length, straightness, bore size and other critical features.
